This is an FBI 302 interview conducted with a US citizen regarding their first-hand account of a UAP encounter at a US test site. USPER described a "bright light over the horizon."
Scientific validation axis from the AATIP framework. Checks whether the record references characteristics that would constitute evidence of anomalous technology.
Hovering or lift without conventional means
The object "did not have any wings or exhaust" and was observed "approximately 5000 feet above ground level" moving "east to west parallel to the ground".
Acceleration defying known physics
High speed without expected physical effects
Evading or confounding sensor systems
The object was visible for five to ten seconds and then 'the light went out and the object vanished.' Despite clear skies, the witness 'couldn't find the object again.' A second witness in a follow-on vehicle attempted to see the object but was unsuccessful. The object disappeared completely from visual observation without any conventional departure mode.
Transitioning between air, water, or space
Physiological effects on witnesses or organisms
The primary witness reported psychological aftereffects following the sighting: 'He was still freaked out and went downstairs to make sure all the TVs were out in the hotel and not just his. [Witness] had weird dreams and had trouble sleeping for the first two nights after he saw the object.' These are described as directly connected to the UAP sighting event.
